It all started in Washington DC. I was working at the Pentagon as a legal secretary. The job was ok — I met people from all over the world. But, something was missing in my life. I did not figure it out until I took my first trip overseas. I had a saving of $2,100.00 and withdrew it all. I backpacked around Europe for about three months. Upon return, I had $2.00 in my purse. The trip was outstanding — what a life-changing experience! Inspired by my experience, soon after my return, I quit my job as a government official. That was the beginning of my life as an artist. I feel so blessed and forever grateful to have been giving that opportunity. I have always been creative but somehow — lost myself along the way. With that said — I will always want more out of life.
